One of our most prized pieces! A labor of love, this piece, dedicated to Dr. James Barry, Irish transgender war hero, was hand-crafted, over a period of 6 months. It was carved out of wax in three pieces, cast first in sterling silver, then soldered, bent, carved and cut, to be finished in 14kt gold. The piece was created after extensive conversational research with both men and women around the subject of shame and stigma. What a beautiful enlightening experience! The clitoris piece was created with the intention of uplifting women and embracing the language that describes ALL parts of our bodies. Hooray for the Clitoris!
