Inspired by something that Founder and Designer of SBB The Collection had seen as a child in The Shining, these deco-style earrings are dedicated to Etta James (Four-time Grammy Award winning recording artist, often referred to as one of the first women to sing in the style that became known as soul. Spending a big portion of her career battling her addiction to heroine and cocaine, while continually lifting hearts and spirits with her music, she is a shining example of women who have overcome hardship and struggle throughout time and became even better, it seemed with age)
These Sterling Silver earrings were hand - crafted by stretching then, cutting through sheets of metal, and carving parts in wax. The wax had to be cast in silver in three parts, then, bent, manipulated and soldered together before polishing off that 1970s sparkly "morning after the night before" deco finish.
